Lasagne Recipe Ingredients:

– 1 pound ground beef

– 1 onion, chopped

– 3 garlic cloves, minced

– 1 jar (24-25 ounces) spaghetti sauce

– 2 cups water

– 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce

– 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon pepper

– 12 lasagna noodles

– 1 container (15 ounces) ricotta cheese

– 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Lasagne Recipe Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and cooked through. Drain off any excess fat.

3. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, water, tomato sauce, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes.

4. Meanwhile, cook the lasagna noodles according to the package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.

5. In a separate bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese, and the Parmesan cheese.

6. To assemble the lasagna, spread 1 cup of the meat sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Top with 3 lasagna noodles, 1/3 of the ricotta mixture, and 1 cup of the meat sauce. Repeat layers two more times.

7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered for an additional 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

8. Let rest for 10 minutes before cutting and serving. Enjoy!
